Our Story

It started with an idea in 2022

This all started a couple of years ago when we had a simple idea: start saving the sea from plastic pollution — one school, one household at a time.

What began as a small local effort is now growing into a wider campaign, working to reduce single-use plastic from schools and homes across the UK, and building a new generation who won't accept plastic pollution as normal.

Our App

Take the campaign with you

The Save Our Seas app puts the campaign in your pocket — and adds three things this website can't do.

  • Track your plastic — tap an item each time you avoid a single-use version, and watch your daily streak and 7-day chart build up.
  • Your own action list — add whatever you're going to do, with a note and a photo, then tick it off.
  • Log a beach clean — record the place, date, bags collected, volunteers and photos, with running totals across every clean.

All three of our websites are built in too, so you can read them offline.
